So. I've been slobbering for the chance to get a reproduction made of the Lough Henney helmet for some time. It looks like I'll finally be able to afford to have one done (and done well). I've collected pictures for awhile, but want to ask if anyone has some good photos in their personal collections they'd be willing to let me use for the project. Anybody feel they've got quality snapshots and wouldn't mind sharing? My sources don't do justice to the some of the details.

Would anyone have any good pictures and dimensions of a repro of the Lough Henney helmet? Especially the detail around the nasal and eyes. Also, i've always wondered if the holes around the lower edge of the original were part of an aventail or part of of the lining arrangement?
