The first and last place anyone need ever look again for titles on the early medieval period in Ireland is the website of the Early Medieval Archaeology Project - www.emap.ie
Here's the link to the downloadable bibliography that's been put together so far; over 4,500 titles in total, probably enough to keep even the most enthusiastic researcher busy for a while. The bibliography is also done thematically which makes life a lot easier so issues such as clothing, burial, settlement, trade etc can be easily perused.

The other reports generated by the project so far are also available on the site as pdfs are a fantastic resource, particularly for anyone doing research on the period.
John, maybe we should stick up a separate thread on EMAP within the early me section/has someone done so already?
Anyway, enjoy!
