New museum in Dublin?

Hi folks,

on historyireland.com i found an article ("Spiked Skull") where is mentioned a new Viking Museum in the church of St John and St Michael . Never heared about it. Has anyone some further information, please?

I just read the article and as far as I know Dublin City Council are planning on exposing some of the Medieval Walls around Isoldes Tower and in the basement of the Dublin Civic Offices. I haven't heard anything about a new Viking Museum.

Bloody good timing if they did decide to "do a Jorvik". Five years to Clontarf. If they play their cards right and advertise agressively they'll get thousands coming over. The more themed attractions they can field for people to spend their money on the better.

Well we've been compared to Jorvik where I work. Can I say it? Dublinia and the viking World.
We have upgraded this year and things are looking pretty good if I say so myself. We'll never be as good as Jorvik though because we dont have a billion trillion euro to put into it.
But we get by.

Yes they have been dusted off, I did it myself!
We even got some new ones. It has improved a lot though, the viking exhibition is a million times better and less abstract then how it was. You walk into a wharf, street and house (I'm plugging now so I'll stop) but its worth a look
