My delivery from Neil arrived today. They truely are things of beauty. The sword is a replica of a find from Co. Down, I believe, with a fresh-looking oak handle. There were a few things that differentiated Neil from other reenactment suppliers I've used.
* He understood that I needed some work urgently, for a display
* He could advise me on what it should look like etc.
* He told me when he'd start work, and roughly when he'd be done (i.e. 3 days, it'd take a day of work)
* He contacted me via instant-message to let me know he was starting work, one day ahead of schedule
* He sent the item via registered post, and got me a tracking number
* It arrived very securely and sensibly packaged in a heavy postal tube
* The pieces look great, ready to rock
I can't recommend Neil enough, and I intend making use of him in future as I build out my bronze-age kit.
