Duncannon 2012

On behalf of Emmet and Myself , the Munster Military Vehicle and re-enactment group , in association with Duncannon fort , wish to extend an open invitation to all groups , vehicle collectors , re-enactors and military hoobiests to attend Duncannon 2012 on the following dates June 1st 2nd 3rd . The show as usual will run the Sat and Sun for the public with Bar- B-Q on Sunday night for all involved in the show . A great show is expected this year and an all time high record of exhibits are expected .We look forward to meeting all again this year both old and new alike .All things military welcome .

Bookings for space and attendence should be made to joe at jjotoole@eircom.net as space will be tight and we wish to do our best for each person and group , weather its display or tenting space etc , traders the same should book early and have an idea how much space is needed . We will be changing the layout of certain aspects of the show this year due to the interest we have had already and this will work in everyones favour .

So book early , have your numbers accurate for food and feeding etc and no-one will be forgotten about . Any questions or special requests for display areas etc please let me know in advance .

We will as usual provide dinner on Sat night and sunday night and Bar B Q also Sunday night for those who stay til the Monday .
Setting up and access will be form Friday at 2 pm and NO SOONER . NO-ONE CAN SET UP PRIOR TO THIS AS SPACE WILL BE ALLOCATED TO EACH GROUP OR ENTRANT BY THE ORGANISERS ON SITE . Myself and Emmet will have it worked out when we finalise numbers for all as we want to give everyone a good spot and appropriate to their needs .

We look forward to hearing from all in due course and reguar updates will go out to all by e mail to each person or club representative

RTE and Paddy O Gorman will be attending the show Sat and Sun to film a future show about the re-enactment scene in Ireland and about the show in general . All groups and exhibitors will be included and the battle on Sat also filmed .
Please take this opportunity to promote your group and give a good impression of whatever historical period you portray . Its a great chance for all to get some nice airtime

Dinner is in the evening at approx 730 on Sat and 630 Sunday with Bar B Q Sunday night at the shows conclusion

Litter is the responsibility of each group / exhibitor in their immediate area .

All those arriving must contact myself on arrival for to be allocated spaces and pitches etc .No-one is to set up without checking first as space is so limited this year due to the sharp rise in entries and attendees /traders etc .

Looking forward to seeing everyone new and old this year
