The Irish Military Vehicles Group would like to thank all those who played their part in making Salute 2010 a great success. Even the weather was kind to us 8-)

We are hoping for bigger and better things for next year and are now looking forward to putting our feet up for the winter :!:

Thanks again to all of you, we really couldn't do without you.

Thanks Jennifer I had a great time will return next year with a contingent of Germans and also spare uniforms for the guys who kindly took part in WW1 German , they were great and the display was extremely enjoyable to watch, I got some great bargains and am very very pleased at the whole event it was excellent. I surely will recommend to others to come next year the stall holders were very reasonable Gary, Paul and Joe I dealt with and I went home thinking what great buys from these guys.

The Irish Great War Society attended 'Salute' in Dublin over the weekend of the 28th & 29th August, where there were several other living history / re-enactor groups in attendance as well as ourselves and they put on some realistic and entertaining shows in the central arena. There was also a dynamic display of military vehicles in the gravelled area where drivers put each machine through its paces as always.

The Irish Great War Society, would like to thank Sean and his team for an extremely enjoyable weekend.
We cant wait till the next year!!
Here's to Sean, the lads and next year!
