President Unveiling Killarney Monument WW1

On the 24th of this month our President unveiled a monument to the brave soldiers from Killarney who took part in the First World War.

There was standard bearers invited from the O.N.E British Legion and the American Legion representing the forces.

It was a great honour for the members of the Irish Great War Society Munster Fussiliers Living Histrory Re-enactment Group, Wargroup to be invited to attend.

Eugene carried the Munster Fusilier standard and Jackie carried the Irish Great War Society standard. We also laid our own wreath in remembrance of all the brave souls who took part in the First World War.
