King's Jelling: Denmark's Imperial Centre
will be delivered by Professor Klavs Randsborg (University of Copenhagen)
in Boole 2 at 7pm on Thursday 19th February
Jelling is the most important archaeological complex in Viking Age Denmark. Most of its impressive array of monuments date from the tenth century and may be linked with the Jelling Dynasty, most notably with King Harald Blatand.
