I wanted to share this link that Sean O'Brogain posted on facebook. There are some interesting descriptions of Irish life, customs, and dress in this little gem. I question the complete accuracy, since the writer is from another country and many of the people he speaks to are not native Irish.

Such an incredible read! (reading past the overly religious paragraphs in this article) I love the part where goes on about the ladie's breasts. Information like this is what really gives meaning to this type reenactment. It's so important that these things are preserved and understood in the correct context.
